A full technical SEO audit and implementation for a B2B SaaS platform — fixing Core Web Vitals failures, structured data errors, and crawlability issues that were suppressing organic rankings despite strong content.

The Challenge
The client had invested heavily in content — 80+ blog posts, detailed feature pages, and comparison landing pages — but organic traffic had plateaued at a fraction of what competitors were pulling. A surface-level review showed strong content but no attention had ever been paid to the technical layer underneath it.
Our Solution
Started with a full Screaming Frog crawl and Google Search Console audit. Found 340+ indexation issues: duplicate title tags, missing canonical tags, self-referencing canonicals, a misconfigured robots.txt blocking key landing pages, and 12 redirect chains. Core Web Vitals were failing on mobile across all key pages — LCP averaging 6.2s due to unoptimised hero images and render-blocking scripts. Structured data was absent on all blog posts and broken (invalid JSON-LD) on product pages. Fixed all crawlability issues, implemented next/image across the site, deferred non-critical scripts via Google Tag Manager, and added valid Schema.org markup (Article, SoftwareApplication, BreadcrumbList, FAQPage) across all content types. Ahrefs was used for keyword gap analysis — 60+ high-intent, low-competition keywords identified that competitors ranked for but the client had no content targeting. Delivered a prioritised content brief for each. Datadog synthetic monitoring set up to alert on Core Web Vitals regressions on every deployment.
Results
- Organic sessions increased 140% over 6 months post-implementation
- Core Web Vitals moved from failing to passing on all key pages — LCP from 6.2s to 1.8s
- Google Search Console showed 3x growth in indexed pages within 8 weeks of crawlability fixes
- Structured data rich results (FAQs, breadcrumbs) appeared in SERPs within 6 weeks of implementation
